Small Boat Series 26 Sept 18

Brilliant days sailing for the finale of the small boat summer series.
With weed problems avoided fair racing took place with at least eleven sailors coming to the start  at 1 pm in the very hot autumn sunshine and generally 8 mph wind from the WSW .
With a simple anti clockwise course and two laps which was extended to three laps for the final tenth final race .
A mixture of DF 65, RG 65 and Affinity’s mixed and swapped positions with lots of battles down the fleet with many changes especially in the low wind areas.
Thanks must be given to Paul in organising us to remove the weed making racing possible again and not just a lottery.
Barbara once again did a brilliant job score keeping and keeping us on track and also supplying biscuit sustenance.
Thank you Roger for doing the results and to Barry for being Race officer for the day.
