Same old, same old, little wind, wonderful company, bright warm sunshine and very close racing with single laps lasting approx 25 minutes.
A small anti clock wise course was set, JT started like a mad March hare, Paul then got going, Roger showed how accurate he is hitting all the marks at least once, Gordon settled in to the middle order, Gary couldn’t get the starts right, Cliff had flashes of speed but most changed positions several times with the dreaded floating weed affecting final boats over the finish line.
Peter and Barbara turned up to split up their hospital visits and enjoy the lovely sunshine …good to see them, Barbara took on line duty for a couple of the races and briefly got us to order.
Despite the snail’s pace the racing was close and clean mostly …
Everyone left when the wind failed completely and the sun started setting after a super day at the lake.
